Russian Teacakes
Russian Teacakes are delicate shortbread cookies.

Directions

Cream together:

1/2 c- confectioners sugar

1 c- butter

1 tsp- vanilla

Mix & add in:

2-1/4 c flour

1/2 tsp- of salt

Stir in:

3/4 c chopped walnuts

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Mix batter to form a doughy consistency. Roll batter into one-inch balls. I use a melon heaping melon scoop it makes the cookies nice and round. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Roll warm cookies in confectioners sugar. Let cool and enjoy. Makes about 48 cookies.
